Brian is 32! (4-25-09)

Brian and my mom

Our second son, Brian is such a wonder-guy! He was born dependable and strong in every way. Tennis, golf, ice-hockey (soon), and his family are among his loves. We love you Brian and wish you a Happy Birthday!

Journee LaBelle Barry 4-23-09

Another little Barry angel was born too soon. She wasn't due until September, but dear Scottee just couldn't stay pregnant, even after being on bed rest and having shots and medication to try to help her. Journee weighed just 8 ounces and was 8 inches long. She will be buried next to her sister, Trevee and will continue, no doubt, to serve on the other side of the veil. We took pictures of us smiling to help the other children know that it's okay that even though we wanted Journee to stay, we trust Heavenly Father's plan for us all.

Fifty-eight looks so good on some people!

John's birthday was yesterday! I drove him to lunch, a movie, to ice cream and to the book store! (Since he earns all the money I can't say that "I took him" but I did!)He is such a good-to-the-core man and a dream-husband! Thanks John for all that you are and for all that you do. Happy Birthday! American Idol Spoof

Check this out! It's my debut! No scripts-just off the cuff! Brooklynn is always making videos. I had no idea how much fun it is to do!

Easter happiness

Our family celebration of Easter was Saturday. When I saw the rain and felt the cold temperature I thought, "Oh man! How are we going to hide our eggs!" But the sun popped out and all 90-100 eggs were successfully found inside the house and outside too. The grand kids got to break a pinata (thanks to Scottee)and get prizes for performing their talents for the adults. Talents included making a paper airplane, turning an Easter basket around on one's neck and other creative acts. But I have to say the most fun was the "Bunny Hop" where Mindy had all the adults in a long line hopping and jiving around the kitchen! Good times!

LaBelle Barry

It's my wonderful mother-in-law's 81st birthday this Tuesday. She is the best! If you ever want to smile all you have to do is hear her laugh. She always looks on the bright side and is FULL of faith. I love you mom-B. Happy Birthday!

The Red Hot Society

I went to Utah for our "Red Hot Society's" annual sabatical. It was a blast! We are five high school friends who meet each year in St. George to renew friendships, laugh, cry, shop, eat, learn, watch movies and sleep very little! This was our fourteenth year. How blessed am I to have forever friends as these girls are. I will post pictures as I get them.
